![]() ![]() ![]() The positions in which specific enemies can use their Thirst attacks are very specific, and sometimes you can lock them into only using their alt moves (like with Predigestion on Supplicants if they are in the third or fourth row). Feeding Blood to your cursed party members also carries on per week, so if a hero leaves a mission bloodlusted, he will not need to drink a bottle of Blood in the hamlet that week.Īnother important tactic is to quickly kill the enemies who actually CAN infect you for normal missions, enduring the first salvo of mosquitoes and killing them first means that you can run the rest of the fight without being overly afraid of getting the curse. The vintners will quickly fill up your blood inventory, and the blood you collect will keep your vampires from dying in town (my current stack in my hamlet is over 200, but only because I haven't been lucky with Curse rolls). Just make sure to construct the Sanguine Vintners if you have building construction enabled as your first building, and collect whatever Blood you can early on, as you likely will not be taking up too much inventory space from short and easy quests. It can give you huge buffs to both damage and speed, at only the low price of resistance weakness (which is negligible if you have a reliable way to deal with debuffs). Rolls to get the Curse are unreliable and can be frustrating, yes, but the Curse actually ends up being a larger buff than it is a con. ![]()
